  Isabel Elena Whitaker

  July 22, 2024

  With a heart billowing with emotion, I share the sweetest update of our lives. Isabel Elena Whitaker was born 7/20/24. She is an absolute JOY!!! God has been all up in this baby’s story. And He is definitely enriching Our faith in Him.

  We thank every single one of you who have lifted us in prayer through this journey. We are ALLLLMOST crossing finish line.

  If I could have you all help carry us during what’s left of our adoption process journey, the next 3.5 days. Thursday July 25,2024 will be the end of birth moms grace period.

  If I can have each of you pray for peace & healing for her heart, mind & spirit. I ask the Lord to guide her as she embarks in living the rest of her life fully. I pray that the Lord would guide her to carry out a life that she would be happy & proud to one day share with Isabel, if they should ever meet later in their lives.

  I ask for God to put a hedge of protection over us, and to continue to sustain our energy, our peace & our joy. We find our strength in the Lord & have had to exercise our faith in its fullness.

  Thank you all for standing in the gap for us!

  Baby Whitaker 2024

  This update is extremely surreal! While Jon & I were away celebrating Our 5 year wedding anniversary, we received a call from our amazing adoption attorney… WE’VE BEEN CHOSEN! 🍾🫶🏼🎉 As if the announcement couldn’t get any sweeter, it absolutely did. To my surprise, We have been chosen to adopt a Latina baby girl due July 2024. Dreams do come true, & Prayers do get answered! We are very excited, nervous & all the emotions in between. We ask with surrendered hearts for you to join us in prayer as we get past what’s left of the adoption journey.

  In lieu of a baby shower, we will later be having a Sip & See for those who are able to come celebrate Baby Girl with us.

  Happy New Year!

  February 1, 2024

  Happy New Year friends & family! I hope your start to 2024 has been full of love. Just writing to update, no new news on Baby Whitaker. At this point, we are praying & continuing to patiently wait on God to pair us with who ever Baby Whitaker’s birth mom should be.

  We were instructed to just stay ready so when we get the call, we can be full steam ahead!

  Thank you all for coming along side us while we pray, wait & trust on Gods perfect timing!

  Praying, Trusting & Waiting!

  Good morning Baby Whitaker cheerleaders! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

  We are so extremely happy to announce that our home study is approved & completed!!!

  And!!!!! Our goal has been met!!! 🍾🍾🍾

  We could not have done it with out the out pour of love, support & encouragement for each one of you on here & in our lives!

  Praying & trusting that we will be matched sooner than later!

  We can get a match anywhere from 3months to 2 years! Praying it’s sooner than 2 years. But the hard part is behind us- the homestudy.

  We wish everyone a happy thanksgiving to you & yours!

  We are a little extra thankful this year!!!

  Homestudy

  November 7, 2023

  Homestudy visita complete! Waiting on PDF so we can submit it to our adoption attorney. We feel like a huge load is lifted off of our shoulders. The hard part is behind us- collecting all the documents was the hardest most tedious task I’ve had to carry out. It is in Gods hands now! We will be placed with the baby God has already picked for us.
