We are so excited to share that we are in the process of adopting a child! Both of us have felt drawn to adoption for a long time and always knew it would be a part of our family’s story. We are beyond excited to start working towards expanding our family and can't wait to shower a new baby with love.
It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $60,000 (or more!) so we have set up this campaign to help ease the financial burden that otherwise could easily be overwhelming. We will also be paying to travel and staying in a hotel once the baby is born for at least a week, possibly several weeks, while we coordinate and get approval to bring the baby home to Florida.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow up. We are very happy to have your support and cannot wait for the next steps in this journey.
We’re home with Parker and couldn’t be more excited. We flew back to Florida overnight and got home Saturday morning. We’re so glad to be back in our own space and Parker is doing great!
Thank you to everyone for all the love, messages, and support while we were in Arizona and once we got back home. We look forward to having everyone meet our little girl.
After a phone call from our attorney in the afternoon of 2/12/24 and a frantic few hours of packing and booking tickets, we jumped on the first plane to Arizona. We got to meet Parker for the first time around 12:30 am. We are still in Arizona and have been in the NICU and another program designed to help make sure she’s ready to leave medical care. We’re hoping to get out of here next week and start our lives together in Florida.
Thank you all for your continued support and love during this process. We are so in love with our baby girl. She can’t wait to meet everyone!
We are overwhelmed by the incredible turnout to our Two Ladies and a Baby comedy show fundraiser. We're so grateful for everyone who came out! It was wonder to laugh along with all of you and we cannot express our gratitude for everyone's generosity last night. We had such an amazing time getting to talk to everyone before and after the show and to see how much support we have on this journey.

Very special thank you to Jason for fearlessly taking on Francisco in a rap battle, creating all the sounds you heard last night, and using his photoshop skills for the PowerPoint. Words cannot describe how grateful we are for everyone who came to celebrate with us. We are incredibly excited to be parents and feel extra prepared knowing that we have all of your support behind us.

We've been working on painting the nursery and we decided on a barnyard theme. A friend of ours helped Christian sketch everything out (thanks Adina!) and we started painting over the past few weeks. We think it's starting to look pretty cute! We're so excited to be in the New Year and are ecstatic that 2024 will be the year we become parents!
