Eight years ago we were able to start our family with the adoption of our precious son, Jonas. We were blown away by the love and support we received through Adopt Together. Since then we have had a daughter, Avelynn, who is 6 years old and and adopted Rosalie, who will be 3 in November! We are once again ready to open our home to a child and Jojo, Ava, and Rosie are so excited at the thought of having a baby brother or sister around!
The Book of James states the Lord sees pure and faultless religion as looking after widows and orphans (James 1:27). Is there a better way to live this high calling out than to make a commitment to enter in a lifetime of making one of these orphans our child? What a beautiful glimpse of the gospel adoption gives us! Taking a child that is not our own by birthright but giving them a home, our name and saying "You are mine and I love you unconditionally!" This is what Christ has done for us and what we desire to do for our future child.
This is why we need your help. To make this calling come true, we are trusting the Lord with the funding for what he has called us to. We are not asking anyone individually to provide our necessary funds but looking for all who believe in our calling to come along side and support us in the responsibility we have been given. Every gift helps and everything is appreciated. If you are financially unable to support us, praying for our process is just as important. We know some are incapable of adopting for a plethora of reasons but still desire to help others who have the capability to adopt.
