Ashley & Travis Stuart

are adopting 2 children from United States of America

We are beyond excited to be expanding our family through adoption once again!

We are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home for the second time.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related cost can easily total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We appreciate your support, love and prayers throughout this journey!

    On to a new Journey

    July 22, 2024

As many of you know, our first adoption journey was a rollercoaster. We had 2 failed adoptions before we matched with our Sweet boy! We welcomed James into our family May 8th, 2023. What a blessing he has been to us and our family! We have LOVED every minute of raising him! He is FULL of personality and a joy to everyone around him!

In November 2023 we decided to start the Adoption journey once again and renewed our home study! We can't wait for another little on to join our family and watch James be a Big Brother!

As many of you know adoption expenses can be steep! If you feel led to donate, know it is appreciated more than words can describe!

    We love you!

    Our Roller Coaster

    February 9, 2023

This journey has been an emotional roller coaster. We knew it wouldn’t be easy but shew we were not prepared for what would be in front of us. We went from hopeful adoptive parents to matched in 2022.

We realized quickly after getting matched to our first Birth mom who was due “any day now”, that we needed to be ready for anything. We quickly turned our guest bedroom into an adorable nursery ready to welcome that baby boy home. Friends and family rallied behind us to get the necessities. We were SO ready! We sat in his room assembling all his furniture, talked about future plans and memories we were going to make. We dreamed of what he would look like, teased each other who was going to be his favorite, talked about how much we loved him, that we couldn’t wait to have him home and we prayed over him and his birth mom. Little did we know 3 weeks later we would not be bringing him home. Instead, We would walk by an empty nursery every day, multiple times, and every time it broke our hearts a little more. It’s a weird, devastating and unexplainable feeling to grieve the loss of a child, but it was reality.

We prayed for God to heal our hearts and help us understand his plan.

On January 19, 2023 we received a email for a birth mom due in September. We decided to submit our profile “knowing” we would probably not get picked. It was our first situation since our heartbreak but we decided we needed to more forward.
    January 31, 2023— We received this email…
    Dear Ashley and Travis:
“Birth Moms Name” has spent tremendous time reviewing all profiles, and after careful consideration she has chosen your family to adopt her baby!
—— insert jaw drop to the floor, followed by tears, then immediate anxiety attack——
    We were matched again!

Since then we have spent time talking and getting to the birth mom. We share a weakness for ice cream, love for pedicures and Her moms name is Cheryl too! We fully believe everything had to fall completely apart for Gods plan to fall perfectly together.

When we started this journey we knew it wouldn’t be easy, but through the bumps we know it will be worth it!
Last night we packed up baby boys items and nursery decorations. It was emotional but it was time to close that door and prepare our hearts to bring our sweet baby home in September.

    On the Road Again

    January 30, 2023

We are SO grateful for how you all have prayed for and supported us since sharing our story. We love you all more than we can even express.
We appreciate the cards, text, calls and prayers during the past month while we have been grieving and healing from the loss of a baby boy joining our family. The good lord has brought us to a place of understanding during our grief and peace in our healing. We know everything will happen in his time and oh what a beautiful thing it will be.
It took 3 months of preparation and we have been patiently, impatiently waiting for over a year for a bundle of joy to join our family and we will continue to pray and navigate this journey until we receive a blessing because we know God is Faithful!
After taking some much needed time to ourselves, we have started applying to new situations! We have signed up with a few agencies that will give us access to more Birth Moms. We pray that we will be blessed with a little bundle of joy this year! <3
