The Smith family is growing!!! If you haven’t heard yet, we are adopting! We started the process about a year ago and we are finally through our home study and waiting to be matched! It may come as a surprise that our adoption when all is said and done will cost almost $38,000. We have had many friends and family so generously offer to help financially, so we have decided to create a crowdfunding page. This provides a place where, if you wish to help support us financially, you can donate and the money goes straight to our agency! We are blessed with such an amazing community that stands behind us, and we know this child will be loved and cherished by so many. We are excited that this is the path that God has chosen for our family and we know he will continue to guide our steps. Thank you for all your support, we would not have come this far without you!
It's been less than a week since we posted out fundraiser and the support we have recieved from family and friends has been more than we ever imagined. Each of you is a blessing to us and we thank the Lord daily for those who are standing beside us in this journey. This week we recieved an opportunity to show our profile, but it is a very different and complex situation that we never anticipated. It is an opportunity we are prayerfully considering for our family, and we ask for prayers over anything. Prayers for wisdom and guidance in seeking the path the Lord has for us.
