James 1:27 - 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬: 𝐭𝐨 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝. We take this verse as a command. So, we are beyond excited and doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. We have already completed a Home Study, and the Adoption Investigator has approved us to adopt a child! 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲. 𝐒𝐨, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐬. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign.
