We have Big news!! We have been Blessed beyond measure!
Sandy is adopting Zariah and Noah, both of whom are my biological children and they have been living with us for over 5 years now.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to permanently combine our family. We have been through a lot over the last few years, and we will be the first to say it has all been worth it. The hardest part of our world has centered around finances due to the many legal expenses as well as the treatments for the physical, mental and emotional neglect and abuse our children suffered before we were granted custody by the courts. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial part of the rest of what we need to accomplish in order to complete the adoption process.
