Hello everyone, we are Brian and Ana Lenoir, two humans who love to serve and help others. Ana loves mission trips and working with people around the world. And Brian is an animal lover.
After 3 years of dealing with infertility, we are excited to share with you that part of our Journey is finally becoming a reality. We are getting prepared to grow our family and welcome our first baby. We are so honored to be parents through adoption and can't wait to meet our first child. The thing we dream about the most is bringing our baby to church with us and going on trips to the zoo with HIM or HER. Christmas too! Brian can't way to dress up as Santa.
We cannot do this alone and there are multiple milestones we will have to reach to get to the final moment of holding our baby. We expect the total amount for adoption to cost between $74,000. We just meet our first goal to pay home study fees, so grateful with everyone who donated here and privately now we are walking to coming fees, like agency fees, activation fee, video profile and marketing to be match, this will be due in different times from January to April. Adoption Update!
We wanted to share a quick update on our adoption journey. We’ve decided to delay our activation until June to give us a little more time to prepare financially. The past couple of weeks have been busy—we’ve applied to six different grants, and we’re praying for good news!

Our shoe fundraiser is still going strong, and we’ve got one more month to collect gently used shoes. Every pair helps, and we’re so grateful to everyone who’s supported us so far.
We are almost done with our video profile and will share it with you when is live.
Some of you know we had a family tragedy last week, everyone is safe but please continue praying with us for processing times and peace overall.

Hello🌸, we hope and pray that you and your loved ones start this new month with joy and blessings. Can you believe it’s already March? We can’t believe it either.
Now we want to share with you a part of our digital profile, this is the our letter to the birth mom. The document is what potential birth moms will receive to learn more about us.
We are scheduled to be active in April, that means we will be getting exposure to birth parents and be able to match with them as adoptive parents. For that part we will need to pay $24,000 for matching, video profile, activation agency fees and marketing.
Thanks to your generosity we have a little more than $3,000 towards this goal. We will never have the worlds to describe how much we appreciate your support.
Now this invitation gives you the chance to continue your support of our journey. THE TIME IS NOW 💓. In the future we will need to cover the baby and the moms expenses and other adoption finalization costs. For those costs we will be able to apply for grants and loans, so we have some time there.
We need to continue moving forward to the longest waiting period, being matched with our future child. So if God is putting in your heart to help us financially, your support is much needed during March and the beginning of April to get us to our next step.

Update: Today, we had our last visit with the social worker. Now we wait for her to summit our home study and be approved as adoptive parents. The home study will determine that we are ready to be match and have a placement,
To be completely honest, this part is intimidating it went way faster than we expected and now is time to double our efforts to gather the money for agency fees and matching process. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes, we will have the completion in up to three weeks.

We are preparing to start a campaign with an organization that collects shoes (to sent to countries in need) and in return they will donate to our adoption fund.
Our goal is to get 1,000-2,500 pairs of shoes, so if you are close and have some gently used, used or new shoes that you need to take out of your closet, please sent us a message and we will be happy to collect them.

We are in the middle of our home study, and documents have been gathered. The first visit with our social worker is on January 31 (we will have 3 visits before the home study is complete).
This Week, I had a conversation with someone about the cost of our adoption process. I wanted to open my heart to you and explain a little about the nature of this process and my journey with it.
Our total Budget is $74,000 is honestly more than that because that will not include ICPI, the first application fees, or the home study, but thanks to you that is already paid. So I know a lot of you have asked why or at least feel curious to know why there is this much money or may have opinions about spending that much money, I had them too because is a lot of money and Where the money goes. the truth is the agency fees are not that much, around 2/3 of this money is for birth-mom and baby expenses, what do I mean by birth-mom expenses (she is not our surrogate) she is a human who is carrying our future baby and most likely she is placing her baby because she has not means to give this baby what she considers a good life, this means she probably has no medical insurance, have not money to get prenatal care, she may no even have food or any way of transportation to go to appointments and we could get a match with her at the 2nd or 3rd trimester and from that, we will support her as much as we can and is allowed, through our agency of course.
It is a thousand more questions in that but the most important thing I want to share is something we have called SELFLESS LOVE, I (Ana) work part-time for a non-profit that helps pregnant women in crisis choose life for their babies, and let me tell you abortion is so easy in this country, in most states is legal, free or if is not there are organizations that will pay for all expenses to flight them out of their states to get an abortion somewhere else, and the organization I work for is not there to judge that but yes to help them (if they want) built a life that will allow them to have a real choice, and decide if they want these babies because 9 of every 10 women I come across in this situations are alone or getting away from DV with more kids and in financial hardship, we are not here to decide if this is good or not, but working there allow me to understand them and know that a woman who is willing to carry a baby to term and think "I want this baby to live but the life I have is not enough for him/her but I know is someone out there that can give that to this baby" that is what I call SELFLESS LOVE, and we know they will be different reasons of what a baby to be place for adoption but listen, this woman will be more judge for placing a baby for adoption that from getting and abortion because this is just the kind of society we are in, the point here is we want to honor that mom, with the way we will raise our child and what we will say about her, in this process I have come to reconciliate with the amount of money with the fact that with that she will have, mental health available for her, mentoring and counseling and help to built a life for herself her family and future kids if she decide to parent later, basic resources like food and more.
