Hi Friends and Family! As many of you know, about two years ago our family started the adoption process. After months of paperwork, background checks, and preparation we went active. During the wait, we said yes to nearly 100 babies only to get the disappointing "not yet" each time. Well, that all changed when a few months ago we received the phone call that a mama had chosen us! She wants our family to adopt her baby! Our sweet baby is due in early March and we are excitedly anticipating his or her arrival. As many of you know, adoption is expensive. We have even seen the costs of adoption rise just in the last year as living expenses have also increased. In addition, the baby we are adopting will be born in Florida so we will also have travel expenses on top of the adoption fees. Even though the costs are high, we know that it is SO worth it to bring our sweet baby home. At this time, we have a goal to raise an addition $20,000. Every dollar will go directly towards the adoption. We are so incredibly appreciative of donations of any amount. We decided to start this adopt together profile as donations through this site are tax deductible.
